Clicking on a feed in the top left panel loads in the photos (perhaps slowly!). Clicking on the arrows gives you a choice of filters: people, date, place or tag. Below we've clicked on people. The people depicted in the photos loaded so far appear in the lower left hand panel. As we click on more feeds this list of people (or dates etc) will expand automatically.
If we go to a page with a foaffile linked from the head the extension looks in the foaffile to find galleries. Below it's found 5, and placed them in the top left sidebar and in a bookmarks folder called 'pigsty feeds'.
Clicking on one of these new feeds shows the images in it and because we have clicked on 'people' previously this left lower panel is updated.
Switching to the tags filter pulls out all the tags in all the feed files we've looked at so far:
